DICTANET RECORDER
The DictaNet Recorder is used for recording dictations and is intuitively easy to operate. The author has the choice of dictating directly onto the computer using a microphone, or to work with a mobile dictation device and transfer the data to the computer at a later time.

As a device-independent producer, we recommend a number of devices from leading manufacturers which we have tested and deem adequate for the daily work process. An extremely useful feature of the DictaNet Recorder is that it allows for the addition or removal of entire passages at any point within a dictation, a process which is not possible with cassette tape recorders.
Even after the dictation has been saved, it is possible to edit the work as required. In order to alleviate the burden on later work done in the area of typing, all crucial information - as for example the file number, priority status, date of completion and any comments made - will be automatically included at the time of saving the dictation.
The saved work’s automatic inclusion of crucial information such as, the file number, completion date, priority, and other comments reduces the burden of work for typists. Consequentially, the use of hand-written notes and manual sorting become a thing of the past.

Naturally entire files, such as digital photos and scanned or self-composed documents, may be attached as required for the compilation of the final document.
As an option, DictaNet can provide an integrated speech recognition system. This allows the user to see the raw text on the screen as he/she speaks. The secretary can subsequently handle corrections and formatting

DICTANET PLAYER
Using the DictaNet Player, the secretary plays back the dictation with help of a foot-operated switch and headphones. This familiar method of operation reduces significantly training expenditure. The functions of volume control, playback speed, fast-forward and rewind can all be individually adjusted to suit the operator.

The DictaNet Player’s high playback quality allows for better listening comprehension. Moreover, unlike tape cassettes, dictations recorded using DictaNet are not subject to wear and tear.DictaNet Player’s dictation manager provides the typist with a clear overview of all the important information about dictation awaiting transcription. Manual sorting of tapes e.g. according to author or priority status, is no longer required.
Additionally, the typist can determine at a glance, the amount of dictation minutes remaining to be processed in his or her writing folder. At times of great demand, dictation may be distributed to less busy typist

DictaNet Dictation Management
The DictaNet dictation manager supports the processing of dictations, and furthermore provides an optimal overview of the workload distribution.
The dictation manager displays an organisational structure with regard to typing work, dependent on whether, for example, work is to be done by one-to-one allocation (an author, a typist), using typing pools, or by distribution according to departments or night time offices. The confidentiality of each dictation is ensured by means of an integrated authorisation facility.
For each dictation, the dictation manager clearly displays the respective file number, level of priority, date of completion, as well as any additional information. Additionally, all completed, and outstanding work is graphically depicted.

This not only enables a high level of transparency and a clear oversight of the dictation workload in the entire office, but also allows for the efficient distribution and process of remaining work. Dictation can be proportioned easily to ensure individual typists are not over burdened.
A network integrated system allows even greater flexibility, permitting work to be undertaken in other locations. By utilising the email function, home workplaces and typing pools are easily integrated; large accumulations of typing work are intercepted and non-productive time is eliminated
